Size Guides

What size should I buy?

If you're uncertain about which size suits you best, please consult our size guides. Our commitment to your comfort and style is reflected in the thoughtful design of our jewellery pieces. Most of our necklaces and bracelets feature an adjustable extension chain, allowing you to tailor the fit to perfection. As for our earrings, they are uniformly crafted in one standard size, ensuring a hassle-free selection process.

What sizing options do your rings come in?

Our aim is to ensure that you find your perfect fit. Each ring is available in three distinct sizing choices, with the size of every piece intricately tied to the specific fingers it's meant to adorn. As a result, our collection features a total of seven diverse sizing alternatives across all our rings, ensuring that each piece has three available size options. The sizes we stock are detailed below.

AU Ring Sizes - Circumference

  • L - 51.2mm
  • N - 53.8mm
  • P - 56.3mm
  • R - 58.9mm
  • T - 61.4mm
  • V - 64mm
  • X - 66.5mm

To discover your ideal size, we suggest measuring the circumference of your chosen finger using a piece of string, then measuring the string and referring to our sizing chart to identify your perfect fit.

Jewellery Care

Cleaning

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the jewellery after each wear to remove oils and dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the gold or rhodium layer.

Avoid Water and Chemicals

Remove vermeil jewellery before showering, swimming, or using household chemicals, as exposure to water and chemicals can tarnish or wear away the gold or rhodium layer.

Storage

Store your gold vermeil and rhodium plated jewellery in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to prevent tarnishing. Consider storing each piece separately to prevent scratching.

Avoid Abrasion

Keep jewellery away from rough surfaces and abrasive materials to prevent scratching or wearing away the gold or rhodium layer.

Occasional Cleaning

If your jewellery needs deeper cleaning, you can use a mild soap and water solution. Gently scrub with a soft brush, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry with a soft cloth.

Returns & Exchange Policy

At Tasman Tales Jewellery, we value your satisfaction and strive to ensure that every piece you choose resonates with your personal style. If for any reason you're not completely content with your purchase, our Returns and Exchange Policy is designed to make the process as seamless as possible.

Easy Returns and Exchanges

We offer a hassle-free return and exchange process within 30 days from the date of purchase. Whether you wish to return or exchange your item, we're here to assist you in finding the perfect piece that matches your vision.

Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be in their original condition, unworn, and with all accompanying packaging intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges if items are not in their original state. Unfortunately we cannot return, refund or exchange sale items.

Return Process

Initiating a return is simple. Just contact our dedicated customer service team at hello@tasmantalesjewellery.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order. We will guide you through the return process and provide you with a return authorisation and instructions for packaging and shipping.

Exchange Options

If you opt for an exchange, you can choose from our available collection of equally exquisite pieces. If the replacement item is of higher value, the difference can be settled accordingly. If it's of lower value, we'll refund the difference as per our refund policy.

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 7 business days upon receiving the returned item. The refund will be issued using the original payment method. Please note that shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Unfortunately we cannot return, refund or exchange sale items.

Shipping Charges for Returns

Return shipping costs for non-defective items are the responsibility of the customer. In cases of defective or incorrect items, please contact our customer service for further assistance.

Quality Assurance - 365 Day Warranty

We take immense pride in delivering the highest quality products, blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge jewellery technology. Occasionally, manufacturing imperfections may arise, such as missing pave stones or loose clasps. However, please note that imperfections resulting from general wear and tear, scratching, stretched chains/rings, improper cleaning, or storage are not covered under our warranty.

Shipping & Delivery

Domestic Shipping

We use Australia Post to send your items and offer both standard and express shipping. Once sent, standard delivery orders will arrive in 2-6 business days and express orders in 1-3 business days, depending on where you are located. Australia Post can deliver to apartments, PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers and remote locations. All Australian orders receive FREE STANDARD SHIPPING, which is automatically applied at the checkout.

International Shipping

We ship international orders with Australia Post. Once sent, standard delivery orders will arrive in 6-16 business days and express orders in 4-12 business days. Regional and rural locations may take longer.

Tracking

Once shipped, you’ll be able to track your package, receive estimated delivery dates and request that it be left in a safe place using the AusPost app or your MyPost account. Parcels can also be tracked on the Australia Post website. Please allow up to 24 hours for your tracking number to start showing updates.

Collection Points

You can collect your parcel from one of Australia Post’s 4,700+ collection points, including a Post Office, PO Box or free 24/7 Parcel Locker. Get the AusPost app to register for a collection point.

Parcel Lockers

You can choose to collect your parcel from a free 24/7 Australia Post Parcel Locker.

How to use a Parcel Locker:

  1. Sign up for a MyPost account and verify your identity. 
  2. Choose a Parcel Locker - search for an address and select ‘Parcel Locker’ as the type of location you’re looking for. Save the details as your alternative delivery address. 
  3. At checkout, enter your Parcel Locker as your delivery address. 
  4. When your parcel arrives, you’ll receive an SMS or email containing an access code to open your Parcel Locker. You’ll have 48 hours to collect it. All parcels not collected within 48 hours will be available for collection at a nearby Post Office.
Safe Drop

If you're not home when your order arrives, eligible parcels will be left in a safe place. If there's no safe place to leave your parcel, it will be taken to the nearest Post Office or a 24/7 Parcel Locker for you to collect.

Attempted Delivery with Signature Required

If a signature is required and no one is there to accept the parcel, it will be taken to a Post Office nearby or placed in a Parcel Locker. Australia Post will notify you of the collection details by email, SMS, the AusPost app or leaving a card.

Sustainable Delivery

Sustainable delivery for postage paid via Post Office, Online Shop or MyPost Business only. Your parcel will be sent carbon neutral with Australia Post, to offset the emissions from delivery.

Eco-Friendly Shipping Packaging

We are dedicated to reducing our impact on the environment when it comes to shipping your orders. Our shipping packaging is made from 100% recyclable Kraft paper. With a premium, double layer of kraft honeycomb paper padding, this mailer provides extra protection during transit, to help your jewellery arrive in excellent condition.
