My name is Ebony Tales, and as a single mother, I often find myself caught up in the whirlwind of parenthood, rushing to leave the house with little time to focus on my own style. This experience inspired me to create Tasman Tales Jewellery—pieces that make self-expression and individuality effortless, so you can feel elegantly dressed with minimal effort. My personal style leans toward an androgynous aesthetic—baggy jeans, white tees, and a blazer—all tied together with bold, captivating gold jewellery to elevate even the simplest look.

Tasman Tales Jewellery is also a reflection of my deep-rooted love for native Australian plants, especially the flannel flower, which grew up my driveway as a child. I was fascinated by the soft texture of its petals and have loved them ever since—they were the inspiration behind the Flannel Flower Necklace in our latest collection, Flora | The Australiana Edit. This collection draws from my connection to nature and passion for enduring beauty, bringing the elegance of native flora into everyday wear.

The precious metals used in our pieces are sourced from ethical miners whose extraction methods and labour practices are strictly regulated, ensuring workers are never willfully put in danger. We do not use mercury amalgamation extraction methods. Our jewellery is crafted from recycled sterling silver, which is either coated in gold vermeil or rhodium-plated to ensure durability and lustre. This applies to our most recent collection, Flora | The Australiana Edit, and all future restocks.

All natural diamonds and coloured gemstones come from responsible sources that are not involved in funding conflict, in compliance with relevant UN resolutions. At Tasman Tales Jewellery, we also prioritise laboratory-grown gemstones, such as Cubic Zirconia, which mimic the qualities of naturally grown gems. Each piece features AA-grade stones, ensuring quality, durability, and elegance.
